Apple CFO Luca Maestri to Step Down in 2025, Kevan Parekh Named Successor

—

Apple Inc. has announced that Luca Maestri, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2014, will step down from his executive role on January 1, 2025.
The company revealed that Kevan Parekh, currently serving as Apple’s Vice President of Financial Planning, will be promoted to the position of CFO.
Although the tech giant did not disclose a specific reason for this transition, it described the move as part of a “planned succession.”
Maestri, who has played a pivotal role in Apple’s financial strategies for over a decade, will not be leaving the company. Instead, he will transition to a new role where he will continue to lead the corporate services team, which encompasses key areas such as information security and real estate.
In this capacity, Maestri will report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
This planned leadership change is expected to maintain stability within Apple’s financial operations as the company continues to navigate a competitive tech landscape.
