Actress Angelina Jolie claimed in a court filing Tuesday that her ex-husband, the actor Brad Pitt, has not paid “meaningful” child support since the pair split in September 2016. NBC News reports that Jolie plans to seek an RFO, or a request for a court order, to collect retroactive support. “[Pitt] has a duty to pay child support,” the filing states. “As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation.” NBC notes, however, that the ex-couple’s child-support agreement has not been released publicly, and Pitt’s legal obligations to Jolie are not clear.
Angelina Jolie has accused Brad Pitt of failing to pay ‘meaningful’ child support since their separation 18 months ago. She wants the court to force him to pay up. Documents filed by Jolie also demand that their divorce be finalised this year. #branjolina
