Ángel Di María Slams Former Coach Louis Van Gaal: “Worst Coach I’ve Ever Had”

In a scathing interview, Paris Saint-Germain winger Ángel Di María has launched a blistering attack on his former coach Louis van Gaal, calling him the “worst coach I’ve ever had.”

Di María’s comments come after Van Gaal’s tenure as Argentina’s coach during the 2014 World Cup, where the team reached the final. However, Di María has no fond memories of working under the Dutchman.

Recalling a specific incident during the tournament, Di María said, “The game against Netherlands? We won in penalties, even though he said we wouldn’t because he knew everything.” He sarcastically added, “He ended up shoving his words in… well, let’s just say he ate his words, to keep it polite.”

Di María’s criticism of Van Gaal is not new, but his latest comments have sparked a heated debate among football fans and pundits. The Argentine winger has never shied away from expressing his disdain for Van Gaal’s coaching style and tactics.

This public spat has once again highlighted the tumultuous relationship between Di María and Van Gaal, leaving many to wonder what could have been if their working relationship had been more harmonious.
