Anambra Entertainment Industry Will Be Reinvigorated – Bob Manuel Udokwu


Mr Bob Manuel Udokwu, the Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Media (Movie/Entertainment), has said that Anambra will soon be reinvigorated in entertainment.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Awka, Udokwu said that with the governor’s love for the industry the state would soon be a tourist destination.

“The industry is alive and well and a lot is on the way to make the state tourist destination which the governor is doing all he can to support.

“It is for the governor’s love for the entertainment industry that is keeping me here so as to join him in contributing to the success of his administration, ” he said.

Udokwu a veteran film actor, expressed delight with the infrastructure development of sites, festivals and emerging hotels in the state which would in the near future host tourists.

“With the development of Ogbunike Cave, Agulu Lake, including emerging hotels all of international standard, Anambra will be better for it,’’ he said.

Udokwu said that Anambra Heritage Festival, which was held last November had a great impact on “Anambrarians’’ and lots more were still to come.
