Akpabio Urges Nigerians to Spread Love, Unity This Christmas

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has extended warm Christmas greetings to Nigerians, especially Christians, urging everyone to embrace peace, love, and unity during this festive season.

In a Christmas message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio called on citizens to use the holiday as a chance to sow seeds of kindness, generosity, and goodwill. He also reminded Nigerians to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate.

Highlighting the life of Jesus Christ, the Senate President said His birth exemplified the values of peace, love, and selflessness, making Christmas a perfect occasion for joy and celebration.

He stated, “On behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate and entire 10th National Assembly, I wish to heartily rejoice with our Christian faithful on this joyful occasion of Christmas.

“And to our brothers and sisters of other faith, I invite you to join us in celebrating the birthday of Jesus Christ. I urge you all to exude love throughout this period and beyond. Let’s tolerate one another and strive to be every other brothers keeper.”

Akpabio also urged Nigerians to keep hope alive and remain steadfast amid the nation’s challenges, praying for continued peace, unity, and progress.

Expressing optimism about the country’s direction, he said Nigeria was on the right path under President Bola Tinubu and called on citizens to keep rallying behind the government for brighter days ahead.
