AFRIMEK Takes Disciplinary Action Against Actor Adeniyi Johnson for Gross Misconduct

The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK), a prominent club in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, has announced the indefinite suspension of actor Adeniyi Johnson.

This decision was made due to what the club described as “gross misconduct” and a violation of its constitution.

The suspension was officially communicated over the weekend through AFRIMEK’s Instagram page. In a statement accompanying the announcement, the club emphasized that Adeniyi Johnson is no longer allowed to participate in any club activities or represent himself as a member of AFRIMEK.

The statement read: “ADENIYI JOHNSON is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and is stopped from participating in club activities. This decision is borne out of gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.”

AFRIMEK is well-regarded in Nigeria’s entertainment scene for its influential membership, which includes various notable figures from the industry.

Before his suspension, Adeniyi Johnson held the position of Public Relations Officer within the club, where he was responsible for managing communications and public relations efforts. His role required maintaining the club’s image and adhering to its rules and regulations, making the suspension particularly significant.
