Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has called on his team to keep their eyes on the prize as they prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal showdown against Algeria in Marrakech.
Nigeria will face the Desert Foxes on Saturday evening, fresh off a hard-fought victory over Mozambique, while Algeria booked their last-eight spot with a win over DR Congo.
“I prefer to remain focused now on Marrakech. There is a game to play, and after the game, we can think about our accommodation,” Chelle told Yahoo Sports. “The story starts in Marrakech, so we have to stay focused on Marrakech, training sessions, and the next game.”
The high-stakes clash kicks off at 5 pm Nigerian time, with the winner advancing to the semifinals.
