Adeniyi Johnson Speaks Out After Suspension from AFRIMEK

Renowned Nigerian actor, Adeniyi Johnson, has responded to his recent suspension by the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK), a well-known association of prominent figures in the entertainment industry.

Over the weekend, AFRIMEK, which is led by actor Femi Adebayo, announced that Adeniyi Johnson had been suspended. The suspension was reportedly due to what the group described as “gross misconduct” and a violation of its constitution.

In response to this development, Adeniyi Johnson took to social media to express his feelings and provide his side of the story. He emphasized that he had a successful career long before joining AFRIMEK, indicating that his identity and accomplishments are not solely tied to the club.

In a heartfelt and lengthy post, Johnson shared his disappointment with his followers. He urged them to remain calm while he works to resolve the issue.

“It deeply saddens me that my esteemed club has made such a damaging statement about me,” he wrote. “I want to clarify that I do not see myself as more important than the club, but it’s important to remember that I was Adeniyi Johnson before I joined AFRIMEK. If this matter is not handled carefully, the club’s statement could cause more harm than good.”

Johnson went on to express concern about how the situation might affect his reputation, family, and brand. He also called on his family, friends, and fans to stay supportive during this challenging time.

“I believe this situation could be harmful to my name, family, reputation, and most importantly, my brand,” he continued. “I kindly ask my family, friends, and fans to stay calm and continue to show their unwavering love and support.”

He also reassured his professional associates, saying, “To all my colleagues and associates, I remain my humble self. I appreciate your ongoing belief and trust in me. God is with us all.”

AFRIMEK is a respected club known for its influential members in the entertainment industry. Some of its notable members include Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, and Jamiu Azeez Olamilekan.
