Adekunle Gold Brags as Simi’s ‘Lost and Found’ Album Hits Streaming Platforms

Simi has officially released her sixth studio album, “Lost and Found,” on Friday, July 5.

The 14-track album includes collaborations with notable Nigerian artists like Asa, Ladipoe, Lojay, Bella Shmurda, Falz, and Tiwa Savage, and features a guest appearance by legendary singer Ebenezer Obey.

The album which explores Simi’s journey of self-discovery, as she explains that it signifies reclaiming her connection with music, melody, and love stories. In her words, “I don’t believe that we ever stop finding ourselves. If you’re willing to look, there’s always more. This is a tribute to the things we continue to find and rediscover.”

“Lost and Found” follows her previous albums: “To Be Honest” (2022), “Omo Charlie Champagne” (2019), “Simisola” (2017), the collaborative project “Chemistry” with Falz (2017), and her debut album “Ojaju” from 2008.

Three singles from the album had been pre-released: “All I Want,” “Men Are Crazy” featuring Tiwa Savage, and “Borrow Me Your Baby” with Falz. At her album listening party in Lagos, Simi praised her husband, Adekunle Gold, for his support and inspiration, particularly for the song “Men Are Crazy.”

Following the album release, Adekunle Gold expressed his pride in Simi on his social media, stating, “Na me know wetin God do for me. Make your babe dey give you bragging rights like this! Ha! Simi you will always be great! #LostAndFoundTheAlbum.”
