Nollywood actor Adejumoke Oreoluwa Aderounmu, known for her role as ‘Esther’ in the TV series Jenifa’s Diary, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
The news of her death was initially shared by a family member on social media and was later confirmed Nigerian filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi on his Instagram account on Monday, April 8, 2024.
She was born on March 26, 1984 and begun her acting career in the 2008 film Arugba.
Her passing has been met with sadness from both members of the entertainment industry and her fans. With Funke Akindele expressing her sadness upon hearing the news.
The cause of her death was not immediately disclosed to the public. However, a funeral service was held for her at Owu Baptist Church in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
