Reactions have continued to pour in torrentially following an announcement by the founder and managing director of Abuja’s Felak Concept Group, Aisha Achimugu, to celebrate her 50th birthday at the caribbean Island of Grenada for seven days.
Achimugu, who reportedly plans to celebrate her birthday in a grand style, invited, several attendees who were reportedly said to have flown from Nigeria to the party’s location in hired jets.
It was gathered that, the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was also reported to have been present at the billionaire’s birthday celebration.
Nigerians who attended the party described it as one of the most lavish parties they had ever seen or heard about as the celebrant hired Calivigny Island for a week and booked rooms for her guests at Silversand Grenada.
During the week-long party, the mother of three and a widow who lost her husband to coronavirus in 2020, was reported to have changed clothes at least 30 times.
A ton of local and international A-list musicians and entertainers flew in to perform at the various events. Those who performed include Kenny G (American saxophonist and composer), Waje, Flavour, Adekunle Gold, Asake and Mr Killa (a Grenada musician).
Highlights of the event were filled with a lot of activities ranging from swimming to extravagant meals, burn fires, kayaking, and tourism among others.
