Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has praised Désiré Doué for his quality, readiness and strong mentality, describing the young Frenchman as a “machine” on the pitch.
Speaking about the midfielder’s performances, Enrique expressed admiration for his ability to play at a high level, insisting that Doué’s footballing qualities remain evident despite occasional inconsistencies.
“Désiré Doué, as always, a machine! He plays football very well,” the PSG manager said.
Enrique acknowledged that Doué could have matches in which his precision drops, but stressed that such fluctuations are common among top players. He pointed to Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Fabián Ruiz, João Neves and Vitinha as players who can also experience similar moments, adding that the situation does not concern him.
The PSG boss said Doué’s ability to remain prepared and seize opportunities whenever they arise was what impressed him most. “What interests me is that he always shows this ability to be ready at any moment. That mentality is something difficult to have,” Enrique added, highlighting the attitude he values in the young attacker.
