The detained Director-General of the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC, Adeniyi Mathew Adeyemi, has been brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment over alleged forgery and impersonation.
Adeyemi was brought into the court premises on Wednesday by operatives of the Cybercrime Centre of the Force Headquarters ahead of his arraignment before Justice Mohammed Garba Umar.

Dressed in an all-white outfit with matching white shoes, the suspect was escorted into the courtroom under tight security by armed plain-clothes operatives.
The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Police Force, is prosecuting Adeyemi in a charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, in which he is accused of offences bordering on forgery, impersonation and other related allegations.
Adeyemi was arrested in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, and has remained in police custody since his arrest.
As of press time, The News Chronicle gathered that the suspect was being kept under heavy security on the fourth floor of the Federal High Court, Abuja, pending his appearance before Justice Umar for arraignment.
