The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed 12 establishments across the state over alleged persistent environmental violations.
The agency disclosed this in a statement on its official X handle on Wednesday.
The affected establishments are located in Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando and Agodo-Egbe.
LASEPA said the establishments had previously received warnings, abatement notices and opportunities to comply with its directives but failed to implement the required corrective measures.
According to the agency, the enforcement action was carried out to ensure compliance with environmental laws and protect public health across the state.
The affected establishments include:
- Thrillz Lounge, Odusanmi Street, Ogba — sealed over noise pollution and non-compliance with LASEPA directives.
- Feixiang Plastic, LASU-Ojo Road, Oko Filling Bus Stop — sealed for non-compliance with the agency’s directives.
- Marvel Hotel & Suites, Chrisbee Crescent, Igando — sealed over noise pollution and non-compliance.
- Keviz Hotel & Suites, Councilor Ajayi Street, Obadore Bus Stop, LASU-Iba Road — sealed for obstruction of duty and non-compliance.
- DSN Hotel & Suites, Benson Onyeacholen Street, LASU-Igando Road — sealed for non-compliance with the agency’s directives.
- Rudaj Vegetable Oil, Tanimowo Street, Ologufe Bus Stop, Igando Road — sealed for non-compliance.
- Celestial Church of Christ, Aduragbemi Parish, Okerube Bus Stop, Ikotun — sealed over noise pollution and non-compliance.
- Limas, Aro-Oloye Street, off Abaranje Road, Abaranje, Ikotun — sealed for non-compliance.
- Nico Hotel & Suites, Ayawo Close, NEPA Bus Stop, Egbe-Isolo Road, Ejigbo — sealed for non-compliance.
- 10Kobo Night Club, Abanishe Street, off Hostel Road, Agodo-Egbe — sealed over noise pollution and non-compliance.
- Master Furniture, Coleman Street, Pao Bus Stop, Idimu-Ikota Road — sealed for non-compliance with environmental directives.
- Nikky’s Executive Bar & Lounge, Governor’s Road, Ikotun — sealed for non-compliance with LASEPA directives.
LASEPA General Manager, Dr Babatunde Ajayi, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to protecting public health and enforcing environmental standards across Lagos.

Ajayi said environmental compliance was a collective responsibility, adding that enforcement would continue against activities that pose risks to the environment and public health.
He urged businesses, religious organizations, scrap dealers and residents to obtain the necessary permits and comply with applicable environmental regulations.
The LASEPA boss also called on operators to adopt environmentally responsible practices and cooperate with the agency towards achieving a cleaner and healthier Lagos.
