The Verdict of History, Verdict of Posterity and ultimately the Judgment of God will remember each of us for what we DID, not what we prayed or intended.
History records decisions.
It records courage.
It records silence.
It records sacrifice.
Every generation inherits a nation. Then it makes its own contribution.
Years from now, our children will ask:
What did you inherit?
What did you build?
What did you preserve?
What did you destroy?
What did you leave behind?
That is why WITNESS must evolve.
WITNESS 2026 – The Conscience Archive will continue to document where power fails, with facts, dates and rigour — not propaganda.
CIVICS ARCHIVES — The Builders Archive as proposed by Prof. Adekunle Oloyede, will document where citizens BUILD, anchored on 5 Pillars:
1. Creativity & Innovation
2. Infrastructure & Maintenance
3. Philanthropy, Welfare & Education/Human Development
4. Local Security & Community Engagement
5. Government and the People — with emphasis on States & LGs
Answered through our eternal doctrine:
Conscience — What was my contribution to where we are? What will be my contribution to where we go from here?
Competence — If it needs correction, correct it. If it needs rebuilding, rebuild it. Contribute your expertise.
Character — If this decision becomes part of history, will I be proud to have made it? Choose building over destruction.
We cannot rewrite yesterday. But we can influence tomorrow.
History will remember what we did. Let us give history something worthy.
