Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has appointed three new commissioners, a deputy chief of staff, and chairmen and members of key boards and agencies as part of efforts to strengthen his administration’s development agenda.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa, in Kaduna.
According to the statement, the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation, Ben Kure, was appointed Commissioner for Sports Development.
Amina Akilu Dalhat was appointed Commissioner for Special Duties I, while Abdullahi Garba Abbas was named Commissioner for Special Duties II.

The governor also appointed the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Dr Haliru Soba, as Deputy Chief of Staff, Administration.
Other appointments included Alhaji Munir Jafaru as Chairman of the Kaduna State Health Care Board and retired Air Vice Marshal Bashir Saidu as Chairman of the Kaduna Vigilance Service Board.
Retired Justice Gideon Isa Kurada was appointed Chairman of the College of Education, Gidan Waya, while Esther Bago was named Chairman of the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development.

Dr Yusuf Bature was appointed Chairman of the Kaduna Hospital Supply Management Agency, while Engr. Namadi Musa was appointed to head the Kaduna Rural Access Roads Authority.
Sani congratulated the appointees, saying they were selected based on their proven records of excellence, integrity and dedication to public service.
He urged them to bring fresh perspectives to their respective roles, shun complacency and align their responsibilities with his administration’s vision of building a transformed and resilient Kaduna State.
The governor wished the appointees success and divine guidance in their new assignments.
