The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has announced plans for an intensive grassroots campaign in the South-East region, aimed at rallying female voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Dr. Betta Edu, the Director of Women Mobilization for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, made this known while outlining the council’s upcoming strategic outreach. According to her, the campaign will leave no stone unturned once full activation begins.
“We are coming back. Once the campaign is fully activated, we will return to the South-East, and we will take the message of hope from the Mother of the Nation to every woman,” Edu stated.

Detailing the extensive reach of the planned movement, she emphasized a deeply localized approach to connect with the electorate. “We will go door-to-door, household-to-household, market-to-market, shop-to-shop, village-to-village and community-to-community. We will sit with our women, listen to them, explain what the Renewed Hope administration is doing and assure them that the South-East has a place in the Nigeria we are building.”
Expressing strong confidence in the political loyalty and influence of women, Edu noted that the demographic remains a critical backbone for electoral success.
“Women remember those who stand with them. Our women will reciprocate this gesture through their votes and mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” she added.
The planned campaign is expected to focus heavily on propagating the achievements and vision of the “Renewed Hope” agenda directly to grassroots communities across the South-East geopolitical zone.
