Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, is battling stage 4 cancer, with his children appealing for urgent medical assistance as his condition worsens.
His daughter, Shaki Taiwo, made the appeal in a video shared on her Instagram account, @kira_taiwo, on Monday night.
Shaki said the actor’s treatment had been stopped after his condition deteriorated, adding that chemotherapy was no longer an option.

She appealed to medical professionals and traditional medicine practitioners with possible treatment options to come forward, saying the family was urgently exploring alternatives for their father.
“My daddy doesn’t want to die. Please, I don’t want my daddy to die. He’s in pain. He’s not happy,” she said.
Shaki stressed that the family was not seeking financial assistance but was appealing for any treatment that could help improve the actor’s condition.
She also expressed appreciation to Sen. Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, whom she said had been paying the actor’s medical bills and providing financial support to the family.
