Tell the Whole World — Bwala Dares Amaechi to Reveal Secret Conversation After Atiku Exit

A fresh war of words has erupted between Daniel Bwala and Rotimi Amaechi after the presidential aide challenged the former minister to publicly reveal the contents of a private conversation Amaechi claimed could explain Bwala’s dramatic political shift.

Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, threw down the challenge after Amaechi, during an interview on Channels Television, reminded him not to forget a confidential discussion they allegedly had before the presidential aide’s position on the Tinubu administration changed.

Although Amaechi hinted that the conversation could shed light on Bwala’s change of stance, the former Rivers State governor said he would not disclose its contents because it was made in confidence.

Responding in a post on his official X account on Wednesday, Bwala challenged Amaechi, now the vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to make the conversation public.

My attention was drawn to an interview wherein you said when I left Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, you called me and I told you something which you refused to tell @seunokin because you claimed it was confidential.

“I Daniel Bwala hereby gives you the permission to please tell the whole world,” Bwala wrote.
