Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, one half of the former music duo P-Square, has released a new video in which he explained the dispute with his twin brother Paul Okoye and their elder brother and former manager Jude Okoye.
In the latest installment of his online series, Peter accused Jude and Paul of excluding him from key financial decisions involving Northside Entertainment and Northside Music. He claimed he discovered that he had been removed as a signatory to one of the company’s bank accounts without his knowledge.
Peter also alleged that Jude had attempted to stop him from performing P-Square songs by asserting ownership of the P-Square name.
“First thing they wanted to do was to stop me from performing P-Square’s songs,” Peter said in the video released on August 5, 2026.
Peter further claimed that an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigation uncovered two mansions located near his residence in Lagos. According to him, investigators linked the properties to Jude and Paul Okoye and later sealed them.
He did not present documentary evidence in the video, and no court has ruled on the claims.

Another allegation focused on a Northside Music bank account that Peter said was linked to an address in Yaba, Lagos, belonging to Ify Okoye, Jude’s wife.
Peter also alleged that ownership interests connected to Northside Music had been transferred to Ify Okoye and that she held a substantial shareholding in a company through which P-Square royalties were allegedly routed.
Following the accusations, Ify reportedly limited comments on her Instagram page after receiving a large number of questions and criticism from social media users.
Before restricting comments, she had responded to the controversy with a brief spiritual message rather than addressing the allegations directly.
Jude Okoye has not issued a detailed response to the latest accusations. In an Instagram story posted after Peter’s previous video, he wrote:
“Oh wow! Now these, bro? Fine, it’s ok. To the Almighty God I hand over everything. You will be in my prayers. Shalom.”
He also stated earlier that the matter is already before the courts and that he would not discuss ongoing legal proceedings on social media.
Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has not publicly responded in detail to the new allegations contained in Peter’s latest video. Peter, however, continues to portray Paul as supporting Jude in the dispute over the P-Square brand and the management of the group’s finances.
A separate controversy emerged after social media users criticized Josephine Adeh, a spokesperson associated with the Nigeria Police Force, over a post that some interpreted as showing support for Peter.
Critics argued that a police spokesperson should remain neutral in an ongoing family and business dispute. The backlash centered on perceived bias rather than any announced police action against Jude or Paul Okoye.
As of August 5, 2026, neither the Nigeria Police Force nor the EFCC had publicly announced new arrests or charges arising specifically from Peter’s latest allegations.
Peter has reportedly changed his original birthday from November 18, the date he shares with his twin brother Paul, to November 30. Many fans interpreted the move as a sign that the relationship between the brothers has deteriorated further.
This feud, which began years ago as a disagreement over the breakup and reunion of P-Square, has now expanded into allegations involving company ownership, royalties, bank accounts, property transactions, and ongoing legal proceedings.
At present, the accusations made by Peter remain unproven in court, and the Okoye family has not announced any reconciliation efforts.
