Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has urged Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, to reconsider his upcoming wedding to fellow creator Jarvis.
In a video posted to his social media page on Thursday, July 24, 2026, VeryDarkMan said the pair are too young to marry and are not treating the decision with enough seriousness.
“Jarvis and Peller, I hope you actually know what you guys are doing because marriage is not a joke or a content creation,” he said. “You really need to think about this.”
He addressed Peller directly, telling him to focus on his education instead. “Peller, you are still a very young boy who needs to be in school, not in marriage. Think very well,” he said.
Wedding preparations, meanwhile, are moving ahead. Peller shared a video showing 12 cows given to him as pre-wedding gifts. He named each donor, saying Pastor Tobi provided 10 of the cows, while Habi Forex and Bless Genius each gave a big one.

“So guys, my wedding cows are here. As you can see, there are 12 cows in total. Pastor Tobi gave me 10 cows. God bless you, Pastor Tobi. May you live long,” Peller said. “Habi Forex gave me one big cow. God bless you. I love you. Bless Genius also gave me one cow. God bless you. Your cow is even bigger.”
In the same video, Peller warned people without invitations to stay away from the ceremony, saying security agencies would be present. “If you don’t have an invitation in your hand, don’t come. The DSS, the police and other security personnel will be there, and they’ll embarrass you,” he said. He told invited guests the 12 cows would be cooked for the occasion and closed with the declaration, “I’m shutting down Africa.”
Peller has also used recent videos to needle his groomsmen over wedding attire. In a separate clip filmed while driving, he criticized them for not yet buying their asoebi, noting that ordinary guests had already purchased theirs while his closest friends still expected free outfits. He singled out fellow content creator Joe Blaq, telling him to stop taking substances and get ready to look presentable, adding that Jarvis’s bridesmaids are attractive. The couple’s ceremony is scheduled for August 1, 2026.
