Governor Zulum Hands Over New JAMB Northeast Zonal Office in Maiduguri

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has officially handed over the newly constructed Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Northeast Zonal Office in Maiduguri to the board’s outgoing Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, and the incoming Registrar, Professor Segun Aina.
The handover ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Borno State Government and top management of JAMB, marking a significant milestone in efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure in the Northeast.
The ultra-modern office complex, completed within four months, is expected to enhance JAMB’s operations across the region by improving service delivery to candidates, tertiary institutions, and other stakeholders.

Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Zulum reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting institutions that promote quality education and human capital development. He noted that the new facility reflects the state’s determination to create an enabling environment for educational advancement.
The project is also expected to improve access to JAMB services in the Northeast while contributing to the continued development of Nigeria’s education sector.
