A serious road accident has occurred approximately six kilometres after Akwanga, near Asabe Guntuwa in Nasarawa State, with several passengers reportedly trapped inside the wreckage.
An eyewitness say the victims were visibly trapped and in desperate need of urgent rescue.
Despite attempts to stop and render assistance, the driver of the commercial vehicle conveying our reporter refused to pull over, even as other concerned motorists stopped to assist.
As of press time, The News Chronicle garhered that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other relevant emergency response agencies have yet to arrive at the scene to save the trapped victims and ensure they receive prompt medical attention.
