The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced that it has successfully uploaded the details of its presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination portal.
The party said its presidential candidate is former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, while former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi was submitted as the vice-presidential candidate.
ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, disclosed this in a post on his X account on Tuesday night, describing the development as another major milestone in the party’s preparations for the general elections.
“We are pleased to announce successful upload of the names and particulars of our presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the INEC nomination portal,” Abdullahi wrote.
He added that the move reflects the party’s determination to present Nigerians with a credible alternative focused on competence, unity, and national renewal. (NAN)
