Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced that his sixth studio album, ORIADE, will be released on July 31, marking another milestone in his celebrated music career.
The award-winning singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, revealed the album title and release date on his official X account, @davido, confirming that fans can expect the highly anticipated project at the end of July.
ORIADE follows the release of 5ive, which dropped in April, and further expands Davido’s impressive catalogue that has cemented his status as one of Africa’s biggest music exports.
The 13-track album also coincides with the singer’s 15th anniversary in the music industry. Inspired by Yoruba culture, ORIADE symbolises a crowned destiny and fulfilled purpose.
Since making his breakthrough, Davido has released five successful studio albums: Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023) and 5ive (2026).
His critically acclaimed Timeless earned a nomination for Best Global Music Album at the 66th Grammy Awards, while the hit single “Feel” received a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category, further cementing his global acclaim.
With ORIADE, Davido is set to add another chapter to a career that has helped shape the global rise of Afrobeats.
