Football is a competitive lovely sport that stirs,
thrills, and unites, that inspires fun, focus and grit.
An art that has the depth and deftness to impart discipline.
Do the fans of football, a favour,
don’t dare fan prejudiced fixated flames
in the fascinating field of play, near or afar.
Football is fabulous, friendly and fine.
It’s heartfelt, hospitable, and honorable.
It’s familiar to foreign fans and footballers.
It’s about family and fellows, about showcasing skills,
or else, hero Thapelo Maseko wouldn’t be plying his trade
in Cyprus. It’s nobler than the hype of foreigners taking jobs!
