None of Them Have G-Wagon- Cubana Chief Priest Mocks Critics After Viral Peller Stream

Nigerian businessman and socialite Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, has responded to the criticisms that followed his controversial livestream with Peller and comments about Peter Obi and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a series of Instagram stories posted on Wednesday, the celebrity barman mocked people criticizing him online, saying many of them do not own luxury vehicles like his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

I checked all the profiles of people trolling, and I discovered none of them have a G-wagon.

He received backlash after comments he made about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi during a livestream with streamer Peller.

In clips from the livestream circulated on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, Cubana Chief Priest said Tinubu still viewed him with suspicion because he is Igbo and had supported Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election.

“President Bola Tinubu no really trust me as an Igbo man that I am. He looked at me with one eye because he believed that I had worked for Peter Obi before in the last election,” he said.

He added that he later aligned himself with Tinubu and the ruling APC because he did not want to continue backing losing candidates.

Because I don’t want to lose again because they say first fool no be fool na the second fool be proper fool,” he said when asked why he left Obi.

Cubana Chief Priest also questioned Obi’s chances in the 2027 election.

Peter Obi is not serious, and the serious people will win,” he said.

The comments came days after reports that the businessman lost an APC House of Representatives primary election in Imo State ahead of the 2027 general election. Social media users widely circulated claims that he received 14 votes in the contest, although official detailed results were not immediately available.

During the livestream, Cubana Chief Priest also spoke about his relationship with Peller. In another viral clip, he said he interrupted a trip to Abuja to return to Lagos for the livestream.

I forgot I had a stream with my boy Peller and went off to Abuja. Once he called, I turned the jet around and flew back to Lagos. These young folks make me feel so much younger, so I can never let them down,” he said.

The livestream drew reactions from supporters and critics across social media platforms.

Social media commentator VeryDarkMan criticized Cubana Chief Priest over both his political remarks and his reported election result.

Inside two APC people, they picked another person and dropped Cubana Chief Priest,” VeryDarkMan said in a video response posted online.

He also criticized what he described as Cubana Chief Priest’s attitude toward poorer Nigerians and linked it to the reported outcome of the primary election.

“This is why it’s a good thing that you lost the election,” he said.

Several supporters of Peter Obi also criticized the businessman for dismissing the former Anambra State governor after the businessman had openly supported him during the 2023 election campaign.

Others, however, defended Cubana Chief Priest, saying his comments were normal in politics.
