Guardiola Keeps Faith as Man City Chase Arsenal in Title Race

—

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has insisted his side remains fully focused on the Premier League title race despite mounting pressure with only a few matches left this season.

The News Chronicle reports that City must defeat Crystal Palace to keep their title hopes alive as they trail league leaders Arsenal by five points with a game still in hand. Any slip could hand Arsenal a huge advantage in their bid to win a first league title in more than two decades.

Speaking ahead of the crucial clash at the Etihad Stadium, Guardiola dismissed suggestions that his players were feeling nervous after recent setbacks, including the frustrating 3 3 draw against Everton.

The Spanish coach said his team remains concentrated on improving performances rather than worrying about results elsewhere. He also praised Palace for their professionalism and warned against expecting easy games at this stage of the campaign.

City are still competing on multiple fronts this season and could finish with more silverware after already lifting the League Cup. Guardiola’s side will also face Chelsea in the FA Cup final as they continue their push for another historic season.
