All They Seek Is to Keep their Culture Alive

They have lived in Australia as skilled gleaners of flora

and hunters of fauna, and friendly catchers of fish for years.

Their intimate and bold bond with the land defines their art,

diet, creed, and architecture. This relation carries their culture.

Africa, and with their rock paintings found in places like the Matobo

Hills in Zimbabwe, then the Aboriginal people –with their Aboriginal

rock paintings, and the didgeridoo: the world’s oldest wind instrument –

are frequently the unsung but original inhabitants of Australia.  Music or tune

doused, disturbed and diseased their way of life: their land, rhythm, harmony and happiness.
