The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has expressed unwavering confidence in his chances should he contest the presidency.
In a media briefing on Monday monitored by The News Chronicle, the former Rivers State governor pointed to his popularity and track record as key advantages.
“Nigerians still love me, and if I run for the presidential election, they will vote for me massively,” Wike declared.
He further asserted that his achievements, both as governor and now as FCT Minister, demonstrate his leadership credentials, adding that even if the recent FCT council elections were rerun, his loyalists would still emerge victorious.
