The Commissioner of Police in Borno State, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, has deployed enough security personnel across the state to ensure that the ongoing Local Government elections are peaceful and free of disruptions.
The deployment includes police officers from regular units, tactical teams, and other security formations. They have been positioned at polling units, collation centres, and other key locations to maintain law and order.
The Police Command has assured the public of its commitment to protecting lives, property, and the democratic process, while remaining neutral and professional throughout the elections.
The Command said it will continue to provide updates as the election progresses.
Members of the public are advised to stay calm, obey the law, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to security agencies.
