Plateau Cleric Confirms Facebook Account Removal Amid Rising Christian Genocide Outcry

Facebook has taken down the account of prominent Plateau State Christian cleric, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a move the preacher confirmed on Saturday.

Asked to verify the development, Dachomo simply replied, “It’s true.”

Meanwhile, The News  Chronicle observed that the deletion comes as the fiery cleric intensifies his outspoken commentary on what he describes as the ongoing genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

Recall that in a recent interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Dachomo revealed he had overseen more than 70 mass burials of Christian victims.

Dachomo also testified before the United States Congress, drawing global attention to the killings.

His testimony came as U.S. Congressman Riley Moore outlined conditions Nigeria must meet to secure a military partnership with Washington.

The tension follows renewed scrutiny after former U.S. President Donald Trump designated Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern over religious freedom violations.

Nigerian officials, however, insist the classification was based on “faulty” statistics.
