Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has responded to online criticism after being mocked for wearing her wedding shoes to a recent public event.
The 24-year-old influencer said she would continue to live on her own terms and would not allow social media expectations to dictate her lifestyle.
She expressed concern that many young women feel pressured to maintain appearances they cannot afford.
In her words:
“My generation girls are living in delusion, thinking I should only wear Jimmy Choos once just because my fanbase is bigger now. This is exactly why many girls feel pressured by social media to fit an unrealistic standard, saying, ‘I need to be a big girl,’ but often they lack the financial means to support that lifestyle.
“Note: My life will go however I want it to go. As long as my family, friends, and honest fans are happy, every other person’s opinion is just noise.”
Meanwhile, Afrobeats singer Davido met Priscilla and her husband, Tanzanian musician Juma Jux, at the Medicaid Cancer Foundation concert in Abuja on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
During their brief encounter, Davido greeted the couple warmly and jokingly said:
“Happy married life. You are enjoying it. Take care of my sister oh.”
The light moment attracted attention on social media because of Davido’s ongoing disagreement with Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother. The singer and the actress have been at odds since she accused him of “chasing clout” over the late Mohbad’s case, a dispute that became public after leaked private messages surfaced online.
Priscilla and Juma Jux married earlier in 2025 and welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24. The family recently returned to Nigeria before attending the Abuja event.
Despite her mother’s public tension with Davido, Priscilla’s interaction with the singer appeared cordial. Observers noted that Davido maintained a respectful tone, suggesting that the disagreement with Iyabo Ojo had not affected his relationship with her daughter.
