The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has lauded Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), for its remarkable achievements in infrastructural development and the prudent application of intervention funds.
During a recent familiarization visit to the university, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, the North Central Zonal Coordinator of TETFUND, expressed deep satisfaction with the quality and scope of projects executed with TETFUND’s support.
The visit included a comprehensive inspection of ongoing and completed projects across the NSUK campus, all of which were funded under the TETFUND scheme.
Engr. Balogun noted that the visit aimed to evaluate the progress of various interventions and to identify areas that may require additional support or attention. “Our assessment is overwhelmingly positive, and we’re impressed with the projects we’ve seen,” he remarked. “This visit underscores the strong working relationship between TETFUND and Nasarawa State University, and it is clear that the university management is making excellent use of the funds allocated.”
He praised the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman for maintaining high standards in project execution and ensuring that all interventions translate into tangible benefits for students, staff, and the broader academic community.
Professor Liman, in her response, appreciated TETFUND for its continuous support and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and quality service delivery. She highlighted that the projects are in line with NSUK’s strategic development goals and the drive to create an enabling environment for teaching, learning, and research.
The visit concluded with a tour of several completed and ongoing TETFUND-sponsored structures, including lecture halls, laboratories, and administrative blocks, all reflecting NSUK’s steady infrastructural transformation.
