Suspected Herdsmen Kill Tiv Leader, Abduct Others in Nasarawa

Suspected herdsmen attacked Tse Yange, a Tiv community in Obi LGA, Nasarawa State, late Sunday night, killing the village head and abducting several residents.

The gunmen, who stormed the village on motorbikes, wreaked havoc through the night into early Monday, injuring many and forcing residents to flee.

The number of those abducted and injured remains unknown at the time of this report.
