Chelsea’s resounding performance at the Bridge earned them a massive three points against Wolves when both teams went head-to-head in the Premier League on matchday 22.
The 27-year-old Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been in great form, scored his third goal of the campaign for Chelsea since joining in the summer from Fulham, early in the tie. Wolves found an equalizer before the first half ended, making it 1-1.
Another promising defender, Marc Cucurella, scored in the 60th minute to extend Chelsea’s lead to 2-1. Five minutes later, Noni Madueke made it 3-1—a comfortable victory for the Blues at their home ground.
The result means that Chelsea has closed the gap between them and Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, who are in second and third place, respectively, in the Premier League standings.
