TV Model Who Falsely Accused AC Milan Star of Rape Receives Suspended Sentence and £1,500 Fine

Russian-born TV model Luisa Kremleva has received a six-month suspended prison sentence and a £1,500 fine after admitting to fabricating a rape accusation against AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.

The conviction concludes a nearly seven-year saga that began in June 2017, tarnishing the reputations of both parties.

Kremleva, 28, falsely claimed that Hernandez, 27, had raped her in the back of a Porsche Cayenne outside Marbella’s glitzy Olivia Valere nightclub. She alleged that the French footballer forced himself on her, pushed her out of the vehicle, and caused injuries to her knees.

However, an investigation by Spanish authorities quickly revealed inconsistencies in her account. CCTV footage showed Kremleva falling accidentally rather than being pushed, and police uncovered a text message she sent to Hernandez at 6:15 am, hours after the alleged attack, repeatedly asking him to come home with her.

Kremleva’s accusations, described by prosecutors as “malicious,” led to her arrest in January 2020 after she failed to attend a court summons. Her trial, originally scheduled for October 2024, faced multiple delays, including one caused by her lawyer’s last-minute sick note.

In a plea deal finalized in November 2024 and made public this week, Kremleva admitted to filing a false criminal complaint. She avoided a potential two-year prison sentence on the condition that she does not re-offend within two years.

In her sentencing, Judge Lourdes Sanchez Esquinas wrote:

“It has been proven that in the early hours of June 4, 2017, the accused Luisa T.K. met Theo H. at the Olivia Valere nightclub in Marbella. After consensual sex in a car park, she attempted to persuade him to spend the night with her at her home. When he refused, she called the police around 8 am, falsely claiming she had been raped and pushed out of the car.”

The court also noted that Kremleva hid evidence that she had fallen during a fight with other women in Hernandez’s group.

In a 2017 interview, Kremleva insisted, “I have proof of the attack, which is on my backside and knees. I would love it if Theo apologized. It’s the least I deserve.”

Her mother, Mila, publicly defended her in 2020, claiming, “With time, the truth is going to come out.”

Despite the allegations, Hernandez, capped 35 times by France, was never arrested. The left-back joined AC Milan in 2019 and has become a key player. He recently contributed to Milan’s victory in the 2024 Italian Super Cup, scoring a goal in their dramatic 3-2 win over Inter Milan in Riyadh.

Hernandez has not publicly commented on the recent ruling but is reportedly close to signing a new contract with AC Milan, making him one of the club’s highest-paid players.
