Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa, the Commander of 6 Brigade Jalingo, has personally taken charge of his troops as they embark on a series of decisive operations to combat terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry in Taraba State.

Under his leadership, the brigade has intensified efforts to dismantle criminal hideouts, including those in the state’s mountainous and remote areas.

Speaking about the operation on Sunday, Brigadier General Uwa emphasized the army’s unwavering dedication to restoring peace and security across the region.

“We are fully committed to eradicating all forms of criminal activity in Taraba State. This includes terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry.

Our resolve to achieve this mission is absolute, and we will not relent until we have succeeded in securing this state for its citizens.”

The commander’s direct involvement has bolstered the morale of his troops, who have been conducting combative sweeps in challenging terrains.

This operation underscores the Nigerian Army’s focus on reclaiming areas under the threat of criminal elements and ensuring the safety of the local population.
