Engage People Like Osibanjo And Not Those Saying ‘Ranka DeDe’- Bauchi Gov, Moh’D Tells Tinubu

Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party’s Governor’s Forum and Governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed has urged president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to get a team where the likes of Yemi Osinbajo would be part of and not those falsefully praising him and saying ‘Ranka Dede’.

While stating that he had high hopes that when the president assumes power he will bring the same magic he brought to Lagos state while serving as governor, the former FCT Minister decried that he was rather mistaken.

Speaking during an interview with Daily Trust, the Bauchi state Governor maintained further; “When I said his policies aren’t working, I was speaking as an opposition member. We can’t be expected to support him blindly as his party members do.

“President Tinubu needs to show empathy and apply the same skills he used in Lagos on a national level. He had a strong team before-like former Vice President Osinbajo and former Minister Fayemi-where are they now?

“He should bring back knowledgeable people, not just those who say “ranka dede” (blind praise).

“The government’s economic policies, particularly around fuel and the welfare of the people, are not working. I’m saying this modestly-our monetary policies are failing. President Tinubu needs to bring in capable people to work with him, not me specifically, but experts from across the country.”
