Alia Unveils Jimmy As DG Of Plenipotentiary And Liaison Affairs

Governor Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Dr. Jimmy Terhemen Ajim, as the Director General of Plenipotentiary and Liaison Affairs, Abuja.

A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary,  Tersoo Kula said “A graduate of Kingston University, London and Zug University, Switzerland, Dr. Ajim has a strong Academic and Industrial Training background in Leadership & Management, Public Relations, Protocol, Diplomacy and Logistics.

“He has worked and held several responsibilities such as Liaison officer; Protocol and Logistics officer; Executive officer (External Relations) both with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) office, in Nigeria and London. He also served as Senior Manager, Protocol (office of the Minister of State for Petroleum), Abuja.

“It is the belief of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, that as a seasoned Liaison, Protocol, Public Relations and Logistics officer, Dr. Ajim’s wealth of experience and trustworthy record of service, will add significant value to his government.”

The governor charged him to remain focused and align his work with the vision of the administration as outlined in the working document.

Alia also urged him to always prioritize the interest of the state in his day-to-day official functions.

According to the statement, the appointment takes immediate effect.
