President Tinubu Demands Justice for Super Eagles After Inhumane Treatment in Libya

President Bola Tinubu has expressed outrage over the inhumane treatment of Nigeria’s Super Eagles at Libyan airport, demanding swift justice following their safe return to Nigeria.

He called for a comprehensive investigation by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to hold accountable those responsible for this violation of regulations.

In a press statement released on Monday, Tinubu praised the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Sports Development for ensuring the players’ safe return and commended the team’s resilience during their ordeal.

This incident follows Nigeria’s recent victory over Libya in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, highlighting the stakes as they aim for success in upcoming tournaments.
