Singer Seun Kuti recently shared his frustration about not being invited to Afrobeats star Davido’s wedding.
He recalled that many important people from various fields attended the grand wedding of Davido and his wife, Chioma, on June 25, 2024.
Speaking on a recent episode of the show Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Kuti revealed that he was so upset about not getting an invite that he couldn’t sleep for a week.
He explained that the situation hurt him because Davido and his crew used to enjoy free drinks at his family’s bar, the African Shrine.

“Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and they would drink without paying. But when it came time for his wedding, I didn’t get an invite. I was really hurt I couldn’t sleep for a whole week,” Kuti said.
