Businessman Debunks Claims of Nigerian Musicians Owning Private Jets

A prominent businessman in the aviation industry has addressed the widespread belief that Nigerian musicians own private jets, clarifying that this is not true.

The response came after a viral video from a fan of Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy suggested that the musician owns a private jet. The fan had posted, “Burna Boy getting off his private jet last night in Abuja”

However, a businessman identified as @LaceVine, who co-founded a private jet charter company, responded by stating that no Nigerian musician actually owns a private jet. He explained that most artists use charter services when they travel by air.

“Nobody in the Nigerian music industry owns a private jet. It’s all chartered, except for Davido, who sometimes uses his dad’s jet,” he clarified.

He emphasized that his statement wasn’t meant to discredit any artist but to clear up the misinformation.

“There’s no intent to shade anyone with this tweet. Also, renting a jet is not a sign of fake wealth. It’s expensive,” he added.
