The Benue State-based club, Lobi Stars FC, has announced the appointment of former Super Eagles captain Daniel Omokachi as its new manager, following the exit of Eugene Agagbe.
“Former @NGSuperEagles striker, Daniel Omokachi, now takes charge of the club following the exit of Eugene Agagbe,” the club stated.
Omokachi will be joining fellow ex-Super Eagles legends Emmanuel Amunike and Finidi George, who recently signed for Heartland FC and Rivers United this season as head coaches for the Nigerian teams.
Prior to this appointment, the 51-year-old had stints in the Nigeria Professional Football League, coaching Nasarawa United, Enyimba FC of Aba, and the defunct Ifeanyi Ubah FC. He has also served as assistant manager of the Super Eagles team.
