Omah Lay Opens Up About Betrayal and Personal Growth, Teases New Album ‘Clarity Of Mind

Nigerian singer Omah Lay recently opened up about the challenges he’s faced both personally and professionally, expressing his feelings of betrayal.

The artist, known for his hit song “Soso,” shared on social media how these experiences have deeply impacted him.

Omah Lay revealed that he has been let down so many times that it has forced him to change his personality every year just to cope. In a heartfelt post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, he wrote, “Y’all done me wrong so many times, I change my personality every year.”

In addition to this, Omah Lay also spoke about his upcoming album, titled **’Clarity Of Mind,’** which he describes as a reflection of his journey toward healing. He mentioned that the album represents his process of moving on and dealing with the challenges of his mind. “Healing & moving on. My mind is my worst nightmare, I’m now learning my way around it,” he said, giving fans a glimpse into the personal growth he’s undergoing.

It’s worth noting that Omah Lay recently faced another significant setback. He disclosed that he had to re-record his album after a fellow artist, to whom he had shared his ideas for the project, allegedly stole those ideas to create their own album. This incident is one of the many betrayals that have shaped his current outlook on life and music.

Omah Lay’s openness about his struggles and his commitment to healing through his music resonates with many fans, who eagerly await the release of his new album.
