In response to the recent flooding that has devastated several communities in Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni has announced financial support and relief measures for the affected victims, on Monday.

During a visit to the flood-hit areas, including Nguru, Karasuwa, and Nangere, the Governor, represented by his Deputy Idi Barde Gubana, expressed deep sympathy for those who have suffered losses due to the disaster.

Governor Buni revealed that each flood victim would receive a sum of N100,000 as immediate financial relief.

In addition to this monetary assistance, the state government will be providing both food and non-food items to help the affected communities recover from the damages inflicted by the floods.

Furthermore, the Governor assured the people that his administration is committed to finding lasting solutions to prevent future occurrences of such natural disasters.
