Ghana Hospitals Gets Major Upgrade

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, has announced the completion of major improvements to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.
 This hospital, which serves the Upper East Region, has been modernized to meet the growing health needs of the area.
The upgrades include new infrastructure that makes the hospital a top facility in the region, offering many health services.
President Akufo-Addo also shared that by the end of 2024, more health projects will be completed across Ghana.
These projects include a new Urology and Nephrology Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and 11 new district hospitals in various regions.
The President emphasized that these developments show the government’s commitment to providing better healthcare for all Ghanaians, with a goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage by 2030.
The President urged the management of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital to maintain the new facilities properly to ensure they last for a long time.
 He highlighted that these improvements are a key part of his government’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of every Ghanaian.
