Barcelona has announced the acquisition of Dani Olmo, who joined for an undisclosed fee from RB Leipzig following an impressive campaign with the Spanish national team in the recently concluded Euros.
The club asserts that Olmo has agreed to a six-year contract that will keep him until June 30, 2030, with a buyout clause set at 500 million euros.
Olmo began his youth career with Espanyol and also moved to Barcelona at the youth level in 2007 before leaving for Dinamo Zagreb in 2014, where he progressed to the senior team.
He departed Zagreb for RB Leipzig, where he made his most appearances starting in 2020, before this dream move to the Blaugrana.
