Kano Pillars Sacks Paul Offor 19 days After Being  Announced as Head Coach

Kano Pillars has announced the sacking of Paul Offor on mutual consent just 19 days unveiling him as the new head coach of the team.

It is understood that Paul Offor was appointed by the previous interim board, whose contract was terminated by the Kano State Government following its one-year expiration.
Offor led Sporting Lagos to a historic promotion to the top-flight league (NPFL) just a year after the club’s creation in 2022. He also guided the club to its first title, the Super 8, by defying the odds and beating high-profile clubs.Unfortunately, he was sacked by the Lagos based club just a few weeks before the end of the 2023-24 NPFL season, with the club relegated after finishing in 17th place.
Prior to this announcement, the club confirmed clearing all outstanding bonuses for 2023-24 and increasing players’ transport allowances for the new season under the new administration led by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Mustapha Rqbiu Kwankwaso.
