Nigeria Safe From Global IT Disruptions -ngCERT

—

Nigeria has been spared from the sweeping global IT disruptions that have recently paralyzed airline operations and other critical services across multiple nations.

According to the Nigeria Computer Emergency Response Team (ngCERT), the country has not experienced any IT service interruptions.
This update follows significant global IT disturbances that have affected countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Australia, and New Zealand.
ngCERT communicated through its official X account on Friday, stating that there have been no reported issues within Nigeria’s digital infrastructure.
While we are closely monitoring the global IT disruptions impacting various sectors, we have not detected any related problems within our cyberspace as of now. We will provide further updates once we have reliable information. Please report any observed issues for immediate attention,” ngCERT noted.
The recent global outage, which notably led to the grounding of major airlines in the U.S., has not extended its effects to Nigeria.
